Why Healthcare

In a country of 1.4 billion people, providing healthcare to the rural areas has always been a challenge. RGT Welfare Foundation acknowledges this difficulty, particularly since 72% of the population live in rural areas, where only a quarter of healthcare facilities are available.

Meanwhile, in urban slums also, where most residents are migrants facing significant livelihood struggles, health often takes a backseat.

Mobile Health Services:

Our NGO, RGT Welfare Foundation, operates mobile health units equipped with medical professionals and essential equipment. These units travel to underserved areas, especially rural and remote regions, to provide medical consultations, check-ups, and treatments to those who lack access to healthcare facilities. The people in need of healthcare facilities can make use of these Mobile Health Services.

Telehealth

We leverage telecommunication technology to offer medical consultations remotely. It consists of a wide range of healthcare services through various communication channels, including video conferencing, telephone calls, messaging platforms, and remote monitoring devices. This enables patients to access medical care from virtually anywhere, overcoming barriers such as distance, mobility issues, and the need for in-person appointments.

Health Camps

Health camps are temporary healthcare facilities or events organized to provide specific medical care, education, and support to communities, often in underserved or remote areas. RGT Welfare Foundation organizes health camps in various communities, bringing together healthcare specialists, volunteers, and resources to offer comprehensive medical services. These camps often focus on specific health concerns, such as eye care, maternal health, or vaccination drives, to address the unique needs of the population.
